The conference will run over 2 ½ days around the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre (Michael Sadler Building) with registration and poster sessions held in the iconic Parkinson Building, all at the University of Leeds.
Tuesday 7th January:
1900 – an informal ice-breaker at the Water Lane Boathouse for those who have arrived in the city (please note that this is not included in the ticket price and purchases are the responsibility of delegates)
Wednesday 8th January:
0900-0955: Registration in Parkinson’s Building
0955-1800: Talks and poster session with drinks reception (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served)
1800: QRA Annual General Meeting, including a presentation by INQUA President Thijs van Kolfschoten and medal presentations
Thursday 9th January:
0900-1730: Talks and lunchtime poster session
1800-1900: optional visit to the Last Interglacial Leeds Hippo at the Leeds City Museum (please sign up during the conference)
19:30-late: Conference dinner at Tharavadu – a Michelin-Recommended Indian restaurant in Leeds city centre (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available)
Friday 10th January:
Departure: from 1300 with a buffet lunch
The Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery will be open from 1000-1700 in the Parkinson Building during the conference, and is free to visit.
